FASHION HEALS AND TRANSFORMS

Is it surprising when you hear someone is battling a chronic condition or diagnosed with a terminal illness and it is hard to believe because you think she always looks so well put together. Looks can be deceiving and fashion can be an armor of sorts at times. The struggle of getting out of bed on those days when your body does not want to cooperate with your brain’s agenda makes living with multiple sclerosis a challenge. On the flip side of things getting dressed on these days requires still looking polished while exerting the most minimal amount of effort in putting together a stylish and comfortable look to face the world. If it is a professional or formal occasions it would probably be best to reach for something in the closet also known as the dry clean section. Best part is no iron needed! More casual occasions call for the stretch and go, that is why it pays to invest in leggings, skinny jeans, and bodysuits to ensure no wrinkles. When you look good you feel good and this is necessary for those that battle chronic conditions daily. Sometimes it is not obvious but Beyoncé’ put it best sometimes pretty hurts and fashion can distract us.
